market town of QUESTEMBERT SOUTHERN MORBIHAN. 20 mins drive from the
coast and the pleasure beach of Damgan.
The property has been renovated with all the comforts yet all
original features have been kept intact. Exposed stone walls and
magnificent open fire place. There is one bedroom with twin beds and a
comfortable sofa bed in the lounge, There is an open plan kitchen and a
bathroom. In front there is a small terrace with table and chairs and
BBQ. The setting is lovely. The grounds are all enclosed therefore
suitable for children.
Gite Clemella is also an ideal property for Winter holidays. Weekend
breaks are possible during any of the off season months. Many of our
Winter evenings have been spent in front of the roaring log fire.
We are ideally situated, The town of Questembert is just 2kms from
the Hamlet has a weekly Organic food market under the 12th Century barns
in the heart of the town. Not to be missed. It’s 20 minutes to the
wonderful coastline with numerous sandy beaches and world famous oyster
beds. Highlights in the area include Branféré nature reserve, a
prehistoric dinosaur park and the golf course of Caden. The medieval
town of Rochefort en Terre is two minutes away, boasting not only its
beautiful architecture but also an ample choice of restaurants and
cafes. We are only a short drive away from the town of Vannes, whose
Wednesday street market must be explored. There are lakes close by ideal
for children as well as horse riding, fishing, mountain biking and boat
trips easily on hand.
