'Le Haut Bourg' is a
traditional Breton Farmhouse, with courtyard renovated in 1996 by the
owners quietly situated at the end of a lane, amidst beautiful
countryside on the edge of the Village of Trebry. The large fitted
kitchen opens onto the Garden. The very large Lounge/Dining room is well
furnished with traditional French furniture comfortable couches and
armchairs TV. bookcase with books, games cupboard also with French Doors
opening to the Garden. The dining area has a table tennis table which
doubles as a dining table and seats 10.A staircase to the lst floor
which has 4 bedrooms, 2 rooms with double beds,
1 with twin beds and 1 family room with 1 double, 1 single and a cot.
There are 2 bathrooms one with a shower and one with bath and bidet.
All Beds have Duvets and English pillows, we can provide bed linen if
required. GARDEN. Large lawned garden at the rear with views over the
village and surrounding fields Garden furniture and Barbecue a gate to
pathway leading to village shop and free tennis and boules courts.
Within an easy drive the coast of Brittany is one of the most beautiful
in France. The Rose Granite cliffs and wide sandy beaches cannot be
surpassed. Coves and rocky islands, mussel and oyster beds all make an
interesting contrast. Val-Andre is the nearest seaside town, with a long
sandy beach ideal for children, quaint harbour and many restaurants. Liz
and Stephen spend the summer months at the cottage nearby, maintaining
the properties and gardens and are available if you have any problems.
