The Cottage at Guernemiry' is completely independent, next to our own home, and quietly situated in attractive countryside not far from the lovely sandy beaches of Brittany’s north coast. Completely renovated to a high standard to provide comfortable and spacious holiday accommodation for up to 4 people. The peace and ease of access have been much appreciated by our visitors. 

Ground Floor – comfortable living room with separate kitchen and dining area. Sitting area has a sofa (convertible to double bed for extra flexibility) and easy chairs. TV and hi-fi. 

Well equipped kitchen area with microwave oven, gas oven with 4 gas rings & fridge, plus ample crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Shower room with shower, basin and toilet. Utility/cloakroom with automatic washing machine. 

Upstairs (accessed by fairly steep open tread stairs protected by child gate) mezzanine  bedroom with standard double divan bed.  This leads to a twin bedded room with full size single beds.  Plenty of storage space.  Bed linen is supplied (weekly change). 

Electric heating throughout (metered). 

Within our extensive gardens a peaceful. private lawned garden with garden furniture and barbecue is set aside for visitors. Plenty of off road parking   We are at the end of a lane so there is no passing traffic. 

Our nearest town is Morlaix (14 km), famous for its viaduct, medieval quarter and a busy Saturday market, and not forgetting a huge hypermarket for essential supplies. There are many beautiful sandy beaches on Brittany’s north coast within 20 km.. 

Nearest shops about 5 minutes drive at Plouvorn and Plouenan provide supermarket, bakers, butchers, bank and Post Office. Plouvorn also has a fresh water lake for swimming, fishing and sailing (boat hire). 

Favourite outings are to Oceanopolis Sea Life Centre at Brest, subtropical gardens in Roscoff and boat trips to the nearby island of Bâtz. The Pink Granite Coast, Quimper, St Malo or Concarneau are also firm favourites for day trips. 

Changeover day normally Saturday but other days possible in low/mid season. Ask about short break prices.

BOOKING CONDITIONS 

1. A non refundable deposit of £50* per week is payable on reservation. The balance* is due six weeks before arrival, travel instructions from the ports and location map will be sent by return. We regret that no refund is possible after final payment unless we receive another booking for the same period 

2. Guests are expected to leave the cottage clean and tidy ready for the next guests. Cleaning materials are provided. 

3 Electricity for heating, hot water & the washing machine are metered 

4 Breakages or damage must be paid for. A deposit of 80 Euros is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure minus cost of breakage/damage, any additional cleaning that may be required & metered electricity costs. 

5. Arrivals should be between 4pm and 8 pm (later by prior arrangement) and departure before 10am. 

6. No responsibility can be accepted for loss or injury during your holiday. We recommend that you take out travel insurance.
