Off the south facing patio is the large kitchen which has all the modern facilities and a rustic pine dresser, pine cupboards, and pine table and chairs.

The sitting room is huge with leather furniture, TV / video / audio, books, videos and cd's. There is a sofa bed at one end of the room with cupboard for wardrobe space. The 2 sets of French doors lead onto the north facing terrace where you can enjoy leisurely breakfasts while taking in the spectacular view. There is a wonderful log burner for those chilly evenings and it is also centrally heated. The bedroom has pine wardrobe and bedside tables and again boasts a fantastic view to greet you in the morning. The bathroom has bath with shower over, basin and WC and hairdryer. There is garden furniture on both terraces and a BBQ. The gite is on one level. We also have bikes for hire. Linen is included but towels are not but can be hired.

The area is abundant in wildlife and is a bird watchers paradise. It is superb for cycling, walking, horse riding and golf and with Lake Pardoux nearby water sports and swimming or just lazing on the beach is possible. There are numerous fishing and swimming lakes in the area, hills and valleys, parks and chateaux and fetes and festivals. We have the lovely towns of La Souterraine, Le dorat, Confolens, Bellac and of course the famous city of Limoges all within easy reach. The train, motorways and airports are all easily accessible.
