BEAUSEJOURThe gite is in
Ereac, Cotes dArmor, Brittany. It is made of stone and set back from
the road, making it very peaceful. Downstairs is an open plan lounge
(with TV and CD/cassette player and radio) and a fitted kitchen with all
mod cons including washing and drying machines, microwave, cooker and
coffee making machine. A pine staircase leads
upstairs to 2 double bedrooms one with twin beds and the other with
a double bed. There is a bathroom and separate toilet (There is a
travel cot for up to age 1 year and highchair). Patio doors lead into
the large mature garden with views of the countryside. The back door of
the gite opens onto a gravelled courtyard for secure parking. There is
also a barbecue and garden furniture.
It is on the edge of the village a 2 min walk to the breadshop,
village shop for all essentials, 5 bars and restaurant. This is
beautiful countryside for walking or bike rides there are woods, lakes
and some of the oldest Breton villages in the area. 10 minutes away is
the small town of Broons which has 2 supermarkets, banks, Wednesday
market, paper shops, restaurants etc. There is another town also 10 mins
away (Medrignac) which has good facilities including an indoor swimming
pool, indoor and outdoor tennis. The road connections to the ancient and
historic market towns of Dinan, Rennes and St Brieuc are very good
(about 30 mins away) as are the roads to the beautiful coast with its
sandy beaches and cliff top walks (about 35 mins away). 10 mins away in
Lanrelas is an outdoor swimming pool and nature trail. There is a nearby
lake for watersports. Several golf courses are within a half hours
drive.
The port of St Malo and Dinard airport are 40 mins away and the port
of Caen about 2 2 and a half hours. It is £300.00 a week (in high
season, less in mid and low seasons) inclusive of electricity and water.
All bed linen is provided. We provide a welcome box of coffee, milk,
butter, sugar, croissants. We can also provide a babysitting service for
a small fee. There is plenty of literature about the surrounding area,
market days etc in the gite.
