MMe Gelibert welcomes you to her newly converted gite situated in the heart of the French countryside.

This former barn has been converted into living accommodation for up to 6 people in three double bedrooms. The kitchen / Dining room has all modern facilities and has a large country style table seating up to 10 people and with an open fire. Attached is a large lounge with comfortable seating, television, radio and CD player. A large patio window leads to a private terrace area with BBQ and garden furniture. Beyond this is the private garden overlooking the rolling fields of the Charente.

As this area faces west you can sit with a glass of wine and watch the glorious sunsets. Also in the garden is a large swimming pool 9mtrs by 4 mtrs. Although this facility is shared with MMe Gelibert and her husband they will respect your privacy

Upstairs are three double bedrooms a bathroom and separate toilet

The house has full central heating which is included in the rental price together with electricity and linen. Please bring your own beach towels Well behaved pets are accepted. There is private parking.

The gite is in the small hamlet of Le Chatenet about 6 km from Mansle with a full range of shops, canoe hire and mini golf. St Angeau is 2km with a small supermarket, 2 bars, boulangerie, butcher, garage and pharmacie. La Rochfoucauld with 12c chateau is approx 10km away, Angouleme a walled town 20 km, Cognac 25km, beaches at La Rochelle and Royan approx 90km.
