Our Gite is a carefully renovated farmhouse overlooking the River Charente and its beautiful valley.  Totally uninterrupted views provide privacy and tranquility. 

The house has two large bedrooms, one double with an extra full sized single bed, the other is a twin room. There is a large bathroom with toilet, plus two extra independent toilets, one of which is downstairs.  The lounge diner is a beamed room and has a log burner for cozy spring or autumn evenings..

The terraces and orchard outside are perfect for  quiet relaxation and there is a Boules area.  The original bread oven is preserved and is an ideal shady place for an aperitif whilst waiting for the BBQ to heat up. Many lanes surrounding the hamlet are perfect for walking or cycling and we have two bicycles available.

Our local village of Chatain is within walking distance and has a bar and Boulangerie. Futuroscope is 75 mins. away and Limoges, Poitiers, Cognac and La Rochelle are all easily accessible.
