The house has been recently renovated to a high standard but retains considerable charm.

The Lounge is tastefully furnished with settees, armchairs, TV, CD player and bookcase. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would expect including a dishwasher and washing machine. Kitchen table can seat up to 8 and kitchen opens out onto terraced patio.

The property has three double bedrooms, which can be adapted to suit individual needs but all can easily accommodate a double bed and a single bed or two single beds can be in one room. All rooms have wardrobes and drawers as well as bedside tables and lamps. We can on request provide cot and highchair.

The modern bathroom is equipped with a large shower, toilet, basin and bidet. There is also a separate toilet with toilet, bidet and basin.

Outside, the property has a spacious patio area with ample garden furniture and a BBQ to enjoy the wonderful views over the local country side. There is direct access to an 11 x 6.5 metre swimming pool which is fully fenced and conforms to the high safety requirements in France. The pool also has a large terraced area ideal for sunbathing.

The property has a large garden with a working well.

The house is well placed to explore the picturesque Charentaise countryside and is situated 20km from the historic seaside resort of Royan. The area is ideal for family holidays as well as adult parties looking to sample the wine and enjoy long lunches, or exploring the the tranquillity of rural France.
